Multi-protective workwear plays a fundamental role in many fields of work, particularly high-risk ones. To best meet these needs, the Multipro line in the Payper catalogue has been expanded with the addition of new third category PPE made with innovative materials, with pentavalent and hexavalent certification guaranteeing total protection. Payper’s offering now includes the FENCE jacket and DEFENCE AND DEFENCE REFLEX trousers, which can be combined to offer a cutting-edge solution for uncompromising protection.

What is multi-protective workwear?

"Multi-protective clothing" or “multi-standard clothing"
refers to garments certified for different fields of use, or suitable for
people working in environments with exposure to multiple risks. This
type of PPE is made with flameproof, antistatic and acidproof fabric, certified
for protection against the thermal effects of electric arcs
and the risks
deriving from welding and related activities. The same applies to the
accessories used to trim the garments.

In addition to ensuring maximum protection, allowing users to work
safely
, our garments are made with the unmistakable focus on design that
has always distinguished the Payper brand, with its ability to combine
style, practicality, functionality and comfort
.

Which standards regulate multi-protective clothing?

European legislation establishes multi-standard workwear compliance criteria based on the risks involved in certain types of work. To certify the compliance of our PPE with safety standards, Payper's in-house laboratory designs and develops all items on the basis of the requirements, and then conducts the tests necessary to obtain certification. The goal is to always meet the highest safety standards. The standards governing our multi-protective clothing are as follows:

The FENCE multi-protection jacket and DEFENCE REFLEX multi-protection trousers are also certified according to a sixth standard, EN 17353:2020. They are both designed with retro-reflective stripes for improved visibility.

How to choose MULTIPRO clothing?

Payper has always had a special focus on workwear, with the goal of protecting the wearer’s safety on the job. Right from the start Payper has dedicated all its resources and skills to the design and development of multi-protection PPE, with the aim of refining and expanding our offering with increasingly structured and high-performing garments that meet the strictest international standards.

Choose among the MULTIPRO garments in the Payper catalogue on the basis of your own specific needs and regulations. The range includes padded and unlined jackets, as well as garments made with fluorescent or solid-coloured fabric.

Which items does MULTIPRO Payper offer?

Payper's MULTIPRO line of clothing has been expanded with the addition of
an unlined jacket made of antistatic, flame-resistant fabric, resistant
to electric arc and chemical agents, perfect for welding. FENCE offers outstanding
protection and comfort
, continuously ensuring optimal dissipation of
electrostatic charges for maximum safety in high-risk environments. When worn
with DEFENCE REFLEX trousers, made of an equivalent fabric with the same
properties, it guarantees hexavalent protection including improved
visibility. Together, these items represent the ideal uniform.

The family is completed with DEFENCE trousers, of equally robust and
comfortable design, ideal for workers who do not require retro-reflective
stripes.

All multi-protection articles bear a label summarising the regulations,
permitting prompt recognition of the performance of individual articles.

Conclusions

Developing multi-protective clothing means investing in workers’ safety and well-being. Choosing to wear these garments ensures advanced protection and long-lasting comfort. Moreover, the tests conducted reveal that certain garments are capable of withstanding industrial washing at 75°C and domestic washing at 60°C. To preserve the high performance of the yarn, accessories and garments as a whole, we recommend that garments should not be customised or altered. To ensure that protection remains the same, the only possible form of customisation is printing on an area no larger than 10cm².

Investing in quality fabrics and cutting-edge know-how allows us to respond adequately to the requirements of workers of all kinds, especially in high-risk workplaces. Our mission is to equip them and provide them with the workwear that best meets their needs, also offering an opportunity to create real uniforms that comply with regulations and guarantee perfect safety.
