Materials
Increasingly sustainable raw materials.
Cotton
is the most widely used fibre for producing our garments, for which we prefer
organically grown cotton, that is, which respects plants and the environment.
This approach involves an increasing reduction in the use of pesticides, in
order to improve the quality of the soil and the health of farmers.
With
this intent, we are constantly
looking for virtuous materials and production processes that enhance design and our creativity.
Becoming
members of Better Cotton, an organisation in which we believe and invest daily, is the first step
towards an increasingly sustainable production.
Aware
of the impact that our work has on the surrounding world, we have also adhered
to the GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) specifications, with the aim of
preferring certified biological fibres.
Lower
impact solutions have also been chosen for the production of garments made of
polyester, where we are increasingly looking at recycled polyester. This
commitment has materialised with the achievement of the GRS
certification, the most important international standard for the sustainable
production of clothing and textile products made from recycled materials.
Our
challenging and at the same time motivating goal is to achieve 100% of our production with sustainable materials.
