Rasti tinkamą dydį – paprasta. Jei norite įsigyti drabužį, kuris dengia viršutinę kūno dalį, susiraskite savo matmenis VIRŠUTINIŲ DRABUŽIŲ lentelėje. Jei visgi norite įsigyti kelnes, džinsus ar bermudus, turite vadovautis KELNIŲ lentelėse pateiktais matmenimis.
Priklausomai nuo drabužio, kurį ketinate pirkti, yra keletas priemonių, kurių reikia imtis esant tiesioginiam sąlyčiui su kūnu. Jei atlikti matavimai tiksliai neatitinka lentelėje nurodyto dydžio, patariame rinktis šiek tiek didesnį dydį, kad turėtumėte didesnę judėjimo laisvę.

- Gamybos paklaida, priklausomai nuo dydžio, gali būti +/– 3 %.
- Medvilniniai drabužiai po skalbimo gali natūraliai skirtis iki 5 %, net jei skalbiama teisingai pagal vidinės etiketės instrukcijas.

Vaiko daiktams sukūrėme vieną suvestinę lentelę, kad rastume tinkamą dydį. Patarimas toks pat kaip ir suaugusiems: jei atlikti matavimai tiksliai neatitinka lentelėje nurodyto dydžio, patariame rinktis šiek tiek didesnį dydį, kad turėtumėte didesnę judėjimo laisvę.

Galvos apimtį reikia matuoti lanksčia matavimo juosta, ją laikant maždaug 2,5 cm virš antakių ir 1 cm virš ausų. Norint teisingai pasirinkti prekę, patartina visada išmatuotus matmenis apvalinti iki artmiausio centimetro. Reguliuojamos universalaus dydžio prekės tinka įvairius dydžius nešiojantiems asmenims (žr. lentelę).

JK ir JAV dydžiai su nedideliu nuokrypiu coliais nurodo galvos apdangalo skersmenį.

The EUR size refers to the last identified in Paris points. One Paris point equates to 2/3 of a centimetre; therefore, a last measuring 280 mm, equal to 28 cm, corresponds to a EUR size 42 (28x3=84 / 84:2=42). UK sizes refer to the English barleycorn Points system with a precise arithmetic progression. One English point corresponds to 1 barleycorn (1/3 inch), the size guide for adults starts from a value 0 which conventionally equates to 25 barleycorns (8 + 1/3 inches), therefore, if the shoe’s last is 280 mm long, equal to approx. “11 in”, it corresponds to a UK size 8 (11x3=33/33-25=8).
The US MAN size refers to the American Points system which follows a different arithmetical progression. Like the English point, the American one corresponds to 1/3 inch, but the American size guide starts from an initial value which conventionally equates to 8 + 7/12 inches, therefore, for the same length of the last, the American size is slightly higher than the English one (generally 0.5 more). The US WOMAN size is conventionally one number more than the US MAN one.
The Mondopoint system, defined by the ISO 9407:2019 standard, describes the essential characteristics of a footwear measuring system based on the length and width of the foot in mm. As concerns the length, the value for each size is approximately 10 mm less than the size of the last.
