PAYPER at DAKAR 2020!
The Dakar is the most famous Rally Race in the world, but it’s also said to be the toughest and most dangerous.
“Adventurers”, this is the name given to the contestants who take part in this crazy race full of bravery and competitive spirit, and go through hard and unexplored lands.
And Andrea Schiumarini is definitely an adventurer who embraces this new challenge after the amazing race 2019 in Peru, when he finished third in the T2 series production vehicles class.
Once realized his childhood dream, the Italian pilot continues his drive with passion, desire to grow and improve in this new sports project.
“After the 2019 experience I realized I got an amazing result crossing the finish line in the Dakar. We will certainly work hard to have fun with a car and a team ready to handle the race. Then, we will take stock once the race is over."
In Arabia, he will drive a T1 prototype Pajero Mitsubishi WRC Plus, arranged by the historic R Team. In T1 class, Schiumarini will get the chance to face pilots competing for the podium – a challenge that aims for professional growth. After all, the Dakar motto is “DREAM, DARE, LIVE IT”, so let’s dare!
