the new car of driver Andrea Schiumarini, from 21st to 30th April we will cover
the 8 stages of the Morocco Desert Challenge; an appointment that brings
together teams of athletes and sports enthusiasts for an extreme rally raid
experience.



This year, after 3 sandy Dakar and one Baja Russia
Northern Forest races where snow and ice were the protagonists, the Italian
driver embarks on a new adventure in the Sahara Desert, which will start from
Agadir, Morocco, and will carry out a purely bivouac route, before arriving in
Merzouga.

PAYPER at the Cross Country World Championship!

We will be alongside Andrea Schiumarini in his new fantastic adventures this year as well.
After having taken up the Dakar challenge twice, the rider from Romagna has chosen to compete on a completely new route. No more sand, but ice and snow will characterise the stages of the Baja Russia Northern Forest, which will run from 4 to 7 February, near St. Petersburg.
There will be 3 days of special stages, totalling 470 km, to be tackled in difficult weather conditions, against the clock and against one's limits.

Today we meet Andrea Schiumarini, the pilot from Forlì who, together with his co-pilot Enrico Gaspari, will face the desert of Saudi Arabia for the 20th edition of the Dakar Rally. This race, already at its 42nd edition, will start on the 5th of January in Jeddah and finish on the 17th of January in Al-Qiddiya. 351 vehicles, 557 contestants of 53 countries will battle themselves in 12 stages on an 8,000 km-long track. Thanks to France Télévisions, Fox Sports and Mediaset (Canale 20) for Italy, the media coverage will be massive.

In the summer of 2018, three climbers from the Rimini section of the Italian Alpine Club experienced a beautiful and difficult adventure in the Bolivian Andes, over 6,440 meters! 

PAYPER shared and supported the enterprise of the 3 climbers both economically and as a technical partner, creating a special ad-hoc uniform.
